The Hotchkiss School was founded in 1891 by Maria Bissell Hotchkiss with the goal of offering an excellent education for boys.
Since then Hotchkiss has become coeducational, grown substantially, and established itself as one of the premier secondary schools in the country.

The Housatonic Child Care Center is an NAEYC-certified facility providing full- and part-time childcare and preschool to children aged 4 month to 5 years. We also offer before- and after-school care for preschool children.
