Quarry Hill Farm

We offer for sale young prospects, to finished show horses, and stand at stud the pure Polish Arabian stallion “On The Mark” by National Champion *El Ghazi, out of a *Bandos daughter. We accept mares to be bred and offer shipped semen services as well.

Riga Meadow Equestrian Center
A spectacular 200 acre facility with a wonderful, friendly atmosphere, is located at 339 Undermountain Road, Salisbury, CT.
Linda Bushnell, managing partner, provides daily lessons to adults and children and exercises and trains horses on behalf of their owners. Linda keeps her thoroughbred Max at Riga, and she is always accompanied by her German Shepard, Cody.
Jackie Merwin is the business partner. She, too, is committed to maintaining a fabulous atmosphere, fun events, Olympian-level clinicians and high quality events. She keeps her horse Copper at Riga, and sometimes her old, lazy black lab, Biscuit.

Time Out Farm, LLC is a horse farm that rescued and rehabilitated several beautiful horses. Our horses are enjoying their time with people of all ages and abilities. Some people come just to visit, some come to learn to ride, all are welcome to come and learn how special and often healing the horse-human relationship is.
We are looking forward to our future and adding more trail rides and an indoor arena. Currently, we facilitate a structured program focusing on horsemanship, the horse-human relationship, riding skills, and a therapeutic approach in maximizing the benefits of just being in the presence of a horse. We teach a wide range of disabilities and abilities. Collectively we may be able to enhance the life of someone you know or it may even be you!
